Pillowy clouds of sweet meringue swirled with warm melted Nutella create a beautiful, elegant treat.
Serves: 12 meringues
INGREDIENTS
- 3 egg whites, room temperature
- � cup granulated sugar
- � tsp. cream of tartar
- � tsp. salt
- ? cup Nutella
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees F. Prepare a large cookie sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- Using an electric hand mixer or stand mixer with a whisk, whip the egg whites on high speed until lightened and foamy. Add in sugar, cream of tartar and salt and mix until stiff peaks form and the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Microwave Nutella for 30-45 seconds or until completely liquified. Take one large spoonful of Nutella and drizzle in onto the bowl of meringue mixture. Do NOT mix.
