Maple Glazed Ham with Cranberries and Sweet Potatoes
A maple glaze for ham with cranberries and sweet potatoes baked together in a roasting pan for a holiday dinner.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Smithfield Spiral Sliced Smoked Ham with Signature Glaze
- 6 sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place ham slices flat side down in a roasting pan; set aside glaze packet.
- Peel and quarter sweet potatoes and place in pan around ham. Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake at 275 degrees for 15 minutes per each pound of ham.
- Remove from oven and remove foil from pan. Sprinkle sweetened dried cranberries over sweet potatoes.
- In a smaller bowl, whisk together contents of glaze packet and maple syrup. Drizzle evenly over ham and sweet potatoes. Allow to rest 5 minutes.
- Remove ham slices and sweet potatoes to a serving platter and serve while hot.
