Blondies with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

These Blondies with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting taste like a cross between carrot cake and blondies � They�re simply delicious!

INGREDIENTS
BLONDIES:


  • 1� cups Bob's Red Mill Organic Unbleached White Flour 7� ounces
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • � tsp salt
  • 1� cups packed light brown sugar 10� ounces
  • 12 Tbsp unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1� tsp vanilla extract


FROSTING:


  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 1 � cups confectioners� sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • � tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt


INSTRUCTIONS
BLONDIES:


  1. Adjust oven rack to the middle position and preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 13- by 9-inch baking pan with cooking spray or grease with butter.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together. Set aside.
  4. In a second medium bowl, whisk the melted butter and brown sugar together until combined. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well. Using a rubber spatula, fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture until just combined.
